Vets deserve a helping hand. They have earned it!
Why not sponsor a Vet with one of our programs? We will help him/her to achieve their success. They will gain a business education, earn a residual income and achieve their goals and dreams in life. The best is yet to come, and no one deserves the American Dream more than a Vet!
I found this statement from Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), a former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel. He is absolutely correct and speaks a message far too many Americans need to hear. He puts a bad act into perspective. Some need to be reminded of the price that our military personnel pay everyday, out of our site, while we enjoy the moments of freedom they provide to us.
“I have sat back and assessed the incident with the video of our Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. I do not recall any self-righteous indignation when our Delta snipers Shugart and Gordon had their bodies dragged through Mogadishu. Neither do I recall media outrage and condemnation of our Blackwater security contractors being killed, their bodies burned, and hung from a bridge in Fallujah.
All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq?
The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.
As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.
Set Your Politics Aside For A Moment:
I would like to share an email exchange I received on Oct 1, 2011 from a site visitor:
Here is the email I received:
Hi, Kurt,
That photo is of Marine Lance Cpl. William Kyle Carpenter, and neither he, his family, the photographer that took that COPYWRIGHTED IMAGE, and the paper that published it are NOT pleased that his image is being thrown around the internet used to promote people’s own private political agendas. They are in the process of seeking legal action. Here is the original posting and context of it:
http://www.postandcourier.com/news/2011/mar/10/senate-gives-thanks-to-wounded-war-hero/
Does he agree with your agenda? Does he know you are using his photo? You didn’t even know his name, and it’s ALL OVER THE INTERNET. He’s not difficult to identify using about 10 seconds of looking at ‘injured Marine’ images on Google.
It would best honor him if you removed it. You are belittling his personal sacrifice by stealing his image and using him as your poster child. How is that any better than what the government has done?
If you’re going to take a stand, take the correct one.

Here is my reply:
Hello A__e,
First, let me thank you for answering my request to identify who the Marine is in the picture.
Second, I would like to insert something that I would like to have conveyed to you before your scolding, but that I will now append to your email, post scolding. And I have additional thoughts that will let me explain where I am coming from in publishing the photo and my thoughts about it.
I'll start with this - I did search for who the person in the picture is and could not find an answer. I have had one other person call me to discuss it but neither she nor I could find who this young U.S. Marine was. Until your email, I did not know who he was, even after trying to find out. For you to assume that I could have found out his identity is understandable, but it is wrong as I could not, but this part of your assumption is not a big deal.
It is a bigger deal to accuse me of "using his photo" as you put it, implying I am using it to his detriment or for my gain, or as you state "to promote people’s own private political agendas". My posting of his picture and story are for none of these reasons.
Since you cannot read my mind, I will explain to you WHY I put his photo up there. I included his photo to help garner heart felt respect and understanding for just how much some people have paid so that all Americans can be free. In fact, so that most of the world can be free.
I too paid a price toward that cause. I am thankful that my sacrifice pales in comparison. It wasn't anywhere near the price Marine Lance Cpl. William Kyle Carpenter paid, but to say that I'm am 'using' him, or my own service, is false.
You may not can appreciate this, but when I returned home from the military interruption in my life, there was no one there to say 'atta boy', 'thanks', etc. In fact, there were people who spit on returning vets and shouted obscenities at us, just for serving.
If someone would have been so kind as to publicize in ANY way the sacrifices that the vets of the Viet Nam era paid, I know that many of us would have been most thankful, but that was not the case.
And so no one assumes anything else wrong here, I did not set foot in Viet Nam, but I did serve during the "Viet Nam era". I was "state-side" for my entire active and reserve duty, USAF E-4, for the record.
To think that YOU see abuse when I see gratitude is interesting in that it reflects upon our two different attitudes that are a result of how we come at the same issue.
For me, I am honoring him. For you, I am using him.
I will post your email (name and email address shielded to protect your privacy) and this reply so that others can decide how they choose to see it.
And, in doing so, I would like to say that if Marine Lance Cpl. William Kyle Carpenter or anyone who has legal rights to the photograph has any objection to me using the photo, that I will absolutely honor their request and remove it from my website.
I fully respect the men and women who serve our country and I would NEVER abuse or display their images in any way to harm them or abuse that respect and honor.
The news article that you reference can be seen at: The Post And Courier at www.PostAndCourier.com
and I encourage everyone to go there and read more about Marine Lance Cpl. William Kyle Carpenter.
In closing, I want to make two comments.
First, I don't claim to understand why you would see abuse with my use of the photo. I would like to explain how I approach my life and my business. Perhaps it will explain my 'Why'.
I am an Entrepreneur and, as such, I do not see a line between my business and my personal life. To me, they are intertwined. My business is who I am and who I am is my business. I help myself by helping others who want to earn their financial freedom, and I am willing to help vets help other vets, thus the name of my website, i.e. www.HelpVetsHelpVets.com
Despite the good intentions of the giver, I have seen hand OUTS hurt people. I have never seen a hand UP hurt anyone, and that's what my offer is to any Vet who wants my help. I will give him or her a hand UP.
Second, I hold no malice toward you for sending me the email you did. I believe your intentions were good, i.e. to defend Marine Lance Cpl. William Kyle Carpenter, and for that I salute you.
The fact that we see things differently is part of life, but I in no way hold that against you. I hope you can return that to me.
I know my intentions are good and that they remain honorable. I answer to myself and God, not to other humans. I try not to judge others, and am trying to practice that now, by writing this response to you.
I hope you can see my position, but if you can't, that's ok, too. It's a free country, and God willing, and with the help of people like Marine Lance Cpl. William Kyle Carpenter, it will remain that way.

I now return to the original content of my website:
Young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and get 50% of their pay.

Federal Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full pay retirement after serving one term.
Does this seem fair to you?
Here is where I originally asked any one if they knew the name of the U.S. Marine in this picture, but since that time, as per the above copy of the email I received Oct 1, 2011, I now know that this is Marine Lance Cpl. William Kyle Carpenter.
I do not think we have to convince anyone to agree, simply let them know the facts. Help get this information to everyone who may not realize these facts. I think they will get the message and hopefully a few will be inspired by it to do something positive.
Lawmakers have a different set of rules they live by. For example, did you know that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans?
Did you know that members of Congress can retire with their full pay after only one term?
Here is a good one. They are exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. How did this come about as a law? Someone must have felt it needed passed!
A timely exemption is that they have exempted themselves from the Healthcare Reform law . . . in all of its forms. So, if the new Healthcare bill is so good for America, why is it not good for Congressional staff?
Congress men and women are an "elite" group of people from the average U.S. citizen. Did anyone ask you if this was ok? Should the USA have an elite that is above the law?
If this bothers you, did you know that there is a proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution? The proposed amendment reads: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."
Three things that would help get this moving would be to learn about this proposed amendment, let your Congress person know how you feel about this, and probably most important is to forward this message on to at least 12 other people.
It will require a huge outcry to overcome this inequity because the very people who need to change this law are the very people who enjoy the favoritism of it.
Personal Note To Vets:
This website is motivated by two things:
- My desire to provide for my family by building my business income and
- my desire to help vets and their families help other vets and their families.
I want to be up front about this - I promote my business COMBINED WITH promoting vets. In all respect, if this bothers you, then leave. I am a business man and a vet. If you are a Vet and want to be also be an Entrepreneur, join me. If not, then I suggest that you find your own way to help vets, just don't judge me for combining the two causes.
The business opportunity offered on this site requires work, and business acumen. I am willing to share in that work to help any Vet who wants to build an income for themselves and I ask them to agree to pay that forward to help others Vets once they are able to pay it forward. It requires work, and I offer a hand UP, not a hand OUT.
If you are looking for a good, honest program, I think you'll like this Business Opportunity. I will personally see to it that you will get your startup costs funded and I will personally help you get started. This is about the easiest and simplest online opportunity that I've seen.
Contact me for details, or just show up on one of the daily webinars.
And if you are a guest who knows a Vet who you would like to sponsor and help them with a hand UP, contact me with details. Let's help those who want to help themselves!
